Independent Monitoring Services, (IMS), was initially established in 2008 to assist cooling tower owners and operators to comply with the Qld Government mandated, ‘Water Efficiency Management Plan’, (WEMP).  This entailed monitoring of water usage, cooling tower efficiency and submitting reports to the relevant Q’ld Government department.

IMS has recently been restructured and can now offer microbiological, and water contaminant sampling, testing, and reporting. This covers cooling and reticulated systems for Legionella and Heterotrophic colony counts. Hard surface swabs for microbiological contaminants, and site water runoff or discharge.  As well as the standard microbiological, colour, turbidity, suspended solids, dissolved solids, BOD, COD, trace elements and pH analysis, heavy metals and hydrocarbons can be tested for.
 
IMS can assist clients with their HCCP, AQIS, WH&S, Q’ld Dept of Environment & Science, Urban Utility and Local Council regulatory testing and reporting. We currently sample for Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, Recycling Facilities, Food processors and commercial & industrial cooling systems.
